The events coding isn't too bad. I'm pretty decent at reverse engineering, so that's mainly what I've been doing. I'm going through the SDK/Lua forum to see if I can shed some light on some things so I don't bother JFD and Sukritact too much. Right now, I'm hung up on the hurry production thing. I tried to use JFD's Roosevelt's Arsenal of Democracy decision to figure out what the code would be, but can't find it (or I'm just not recognizing it). I did, however, find out how to change population in my search through the SDK forum, so that's good.

The decisions, which I thought would be harder, will probably end up being a LOT easier than the events. At least for Vlad, but I don't see many of the others being too much harder.

Hmmm... anything i can do to help? Ill try to find ideas for Bulgaria...

(Can you make events that will only happen if other events already have happend?)
 
One of the more experienced guys would need to weigh in on it, but I believe so. Many Civ-specific events use a save function in their code, so that the next time the event would fire, it checks to see if it already has. If it has, then it picks a different event (I think - if I'm wrong, the event doesn't fire and you just don't get an event as you would have).

If I'm right, that means an event can be set to see if another event has already occurred, and won't fire until it has. Though that means it'll be somewhat rare.

And any event/decision ideas are welcome. :)

It should be possible. At least it is with Decisions.
It should be pretty self-explanatory, but otherwise check the Egypt decisions - I'm pretty sure they do something like it.

Im having somewhat hard time finding decisions, but i managed to pick up some ideas

Rewards: land melee units provide 25% more flanking bonus, and receive they 15% bonus while attacking in enemy territory.
Event: The marketplace's relocation
The ????? moved the Marketplace for Bulgarian goods, thus forcing our merchants to pay high taxes. What shall we do?
nothing. This is not of our concern.( -1 gold from international trade routes to ?????)
Nothing. Tell them not to pay the taxes.(50% chance nothing happens, 50% chance ????? Denounce you)
send an ambassador to ????? (50% chance you'll receive -1 gold from trade routes to ???, 50% chance nothing happens)
Event: captured troops
We have captured troops from ????.
release them.(??? Thanks you for releasing their civilians.)
We shell use them for our own needs.( receive 2 workers, ??? Denounces you)

I was thinking more like "buying Dracula merchandise..".
It was just a not-very-well-thought-through idea [emoji14]
 
He wasn't Dracula, not even close; he was claimed to be a vampire by other parties long after his death, if memory serves. =]
 
I know. My logic was just that in popular culture he's been depicted as Dracula and thus it would make sense to mention him (or Dracula related souvenirs) in the unique cultural influence line.

But as said it wasn't really thought through.

Although, a bit more seriously, you could have "Our people are now portraying our leader as a supernatural being..."?

The only problem is that the whole supernatural vampire culture thing did not originate in Wallachia, but was ''initiated'' by foreigners, as well as the cruel reputation of Vlad III. These culture references are more like actual indigenous customs or items becoming popular abroad, and a foreign writer basing his book on a person isn't one of them.

In short, the Wallachians themselves didn't portray Vlad as a supernatural being :p Thanks anyway.

Also, I'm having trouble making one up for the Kingdom of Yugoslavia as well as the SFR Yugoslavia (I could refer to the Partisan monuments for SFR). EDIT: I got one element; a ''kafana'', which is some type of restaurant.

For SFR Yugo, I got a reference to the partisan monuments and the kafanas, and I'll take your balkan music suggestion and kafanas for the Kingdom, thanks :D
