To add on to an early comment on camel meat and milk, yes it is something I have chance across quite a fair bit in UAE and Qatar when I went recently.
They have regional variants of other meals such as camel briyani compared to the typical chicken/lamb/beef briyani in South Asia.
And camel milk, although not common place, are quite present with camel milk available at supermarkets and used in unique camel milk ice cream.
So I'll say it could be an interesting addition as a luxury resource? Although the history talk about it's strategic importance for the desert so not sure in the bonus vs luxury argument.
