Adopted a Cat.

My girlfriend convinced me to go to the animal shelter in the weekend (SPCA- Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

We came home with a 4 year old black and white male cat. He wasn't the cutedt one on offer but he was cute enough. He was super friendly though and is very affectionate and I'm certain I'm psychic and can read his mind. I'm sure it goes like this.

He gets more attention fomr the GF than I do though. I'll see if I can find a photo and post it later. Now I have to go find postman pat and see if he has lost a black and white cat. He is sitting on my lap as I type this. Help meeeeeeee.

Congratulations, Zardnaar. He's a handsome kitty. He looks much like one I had years ago. Tomtat was a very special cat.

Don't attach it as a thumbnail. Post it to photobucket or imageshack and then post the link using the [ IMG ] [ /IMG ] tags (without the spaces), or simply click the 'insert image' button (yellow box that looks like a mountain with a sun) and post the link into the pop-up window.

This cat is uber friendy but not very bright. He flops on you in any position and often slides off the bed, chair o whatever and ends up on the floor. Or he will end up in all sorts of funny positions and angles like his but on the chair, midsection on you and head on the chairs arm. He even ends up upside down in ur arms.

Only had him 5 days. Frindly little fella. His name is Tag.

@Bamspeedy: Sometimes when I'm browsing the cat pictures at I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER? and my own cats give me a funny stare, it's almost as if they're wondering:

1. Why I would bother looking at other cats when I've got two perfectly good ones in RL; or

2. If I'm actually looking at the equivalent of cat porn (revolting thought).

I was listening to a greeting card of cats meowing various Christmas carols, and my cats flipped out -- they thought I had a cat trapped in the computer!

I was in a parking lot 2 nights ago and lil siamese came running up across the street just a meawing away like I was her moms What could I do? Poor thing looked hungry and was all over me on my lap the whole drive home. Turns out she has a hernia, dosn't seem to bother her but Shame she was probable discarded for that reason

Did the poster thing nothing so far.I hope someone takes her. Im not home near enough anymore for a lil friend like her .

It is a very nice thing to do, adopting a cat from the shelter, especially an adult cat, b/c majority of them will almost surely face the gas chamber if not adopted.

I took a 3 year old adult male myself. He's friendly and funny enough for an adult cat.
