Hi,
How does the "our hero wants to go on an adventure" event work?
I funded the adventure... now what? Should i not move the unit for a couple turns?

well the only time i got this event it was a few versions back and he just dissapeared but i remember breading about it in the bug thread, i think he has a chance of gaining an item and a chance of dying
 
I don;t think it really involves waiting. I think i tis an instant effect, possibly killing the unit, possibly gaining xp, or possibly finding a piece of equipment.
 
I don't have to take him to an abandoned citadel or anything? I got this message before and nothing happened so i figured i had to do something else to make the 'adventure' adventurous.

I got that yesterday on my first game of FfH and got a healling salve artifact.
 
The most likely result seems to be the unit gaining a few xp (as in, 2 to 4), which most of the time you won't even notice (since you probably don't remember how much xp it had to start with). But I have gained a nice item one (something with air affinity if I remember correctly), and I have yet to have a unit die.
 
My hero was a multimod Avatar and the event caused it to lose its movement and affinity. It could be Hasted one time only.
