Ahmadinejad: THe US must apologize over nuclear issue

So, I wonder why the US and the EU keep insisting on more sanctions when the IAEA clearly says there is no evidence whatsoever that Iran is making nukes.
Seems like a dejavu to me ... cough Irak cough

Edit: is it against forum rules to flame non-members? :D Errr, wait a sec--for all I know, Ahmadinejad might actually have an account on this board!

What if he's YOU! Or ME? Or PERFECTION? Or even THUNDERFALL? And when I read the thread title, I thought it said "Mussharaff"! (Did I spell that right?)

Afghanistan was something like a bother line case. They did harbor Al Qaida after all, so it’s not that unreasonable that they got attacked and invaded after 9/11. That’s why there is NATO there even now..

Iraq on the other hand has everything to do with neocons and their BS. And Since they try to “deal” with Iran in the same way, that does make it “Iraq 2.0”. Not that anyone would fall for that BS this time around, even if the US army would be ready for an another invasion.

the US government has a lot more to gain by being friends with Iran than they do by keeping Iran in the crossfire. realistically, i don't expect an apology anytime soon. i can't get over the US response though, it makes me want to vomit.

True, but Iran is hostile towards Israel, thus America is forced to contain them.

Can someone kill this idiot already? I'm sick of hearing about him. He's as annoying as Paris Hilton.

True, but Iran is hostile towards Israel, thus America is forced to contain them.

If Iran is hostile towards Australia, I shall hope that America is "forced" to contain them too. Otherwise, what are allies for?

Seeing as there's no solid proof of Iran having nuclear weapons,
Lemme clear this up for ya, braw: Iran definitely does not have nuclear weapons.

The whole thing we're trying to accomplish here is to make sure Iran never gets them. Because Iran is being run by a bunch of religious idiots who must not be allowed to possess nukes.

As much as I would hate seeing nukes in hand of Iran , I think they are right in this matter . If the western governments want to harass them for an intent to develop nuclear weapons , the burden of proof lies with them .

Let's say a nation A says that US is developing some ( insert some horrific biological weapon here) it is on the onus of that nation to prove it. Instead of a free pass to all US scientific / military stations .

The UN / IAEE inspectors were proven to be sending back info to the US in the Iraq issue prior to its invasion . Why does Iran have to give all info it is demanded of . It has co-operated reasonably but you can't have a free pass to all its centres merely on suspicion it is going to develop nuclear weapons.

We haven't proving that they have plans to build any either.

And no, religious fanatics do not count as proof that Iran plans to build nuclear weapons.

Because if they don't, their nuclear research facilities are going to get bombed out of existence by Israel. I know this, because Israel has already bombed other nations' nuclear facilities at least twice.

Iran is going to be deprived of its nuclear program one way or the other. Either by invasive pressure from the U.S., or by warfare. Which way do you want it?

Something I need to add here (for a few of you this will be old hat):

I have no respect for religious governments, dictators, or least of all religious dictators. I don't know if His Retardedness Ahmadinejad is both, but he's definitely a dictator, and that's good enough for me.

So, my response to everybody's yakking about respect for Iran's sovereignty? I don't give a flying damn. Dictatorships have no rights. The Iranian government has no rights. No right to nuclear weapons, no right to security against foreign intrustion, no right to privacy of business.

Once Iran's government is in the hands of the citizens, then I'll favor pulling out the inspectors and leaving Iran to research nuclear power (or nuclear weapons). Not before. Democracy is required first, and that is not negotiable.

They got our implicit permission to nuclear power when we signed the NPT with them.

And their citizenry certainly has the right to energy.

I like how Iran at the last moment gives up a bunch of stuff like plans to build a bomb....... And we are supposed to be all happy and congratulate them and apologize. Where was all this info and plans 6 months ago when they were ordered to give it up? If they were holding all this out then what are they holding out on now? What cherry will they give up when the next round of sanctions is up for a vote? Iran is just stringing the IAEA along and AlBaradai is little more then an apologist for Iran.

The IAEA has more information that pundits do, and they've concluded there hasn't been a nuclear weapon program. The pundits, using their lesser information, have been trying to convince us that Iran was in the process of building nuclear weapons.

People should use facts to change their opinions of the situation. As well as recognise that many people have been trying to bias us.

The fact that 6 months ago Iran didn't have any nuke bombs plans and the fact that they do know is enough for me to determine Iran can't be trusted. And I'm sure they only had one set of plans without copies.........

Well that will be far from an eye roll if Australia and Israel ever drew arms... c'mon.

Even if they were building nukes, which there is no proof at all, If I had America bothering my ass, then you can be sure as hell I'd be building them so I don't become the next Irak.
