AI cheating, 3 hits to my 1...

every turn, the AI gets at LEAST 3-4 shots on my invaders before i have the option to shoot back. WTF?! they just wail on me and the best i have is fortify till healed, but while i heal they keep nailing me with fireballs. is there ANY PARITY? this is ridiculous... i just build units and send them to oblivion... waste of time.

If the AI is shooting you 3-4 times, then they have a lot of ranged bombardment units.

Get some. Use them.

Don't attack unless you have a large advantage. Declare war where you have a good defensive position and then let the AI come to you, and kill their stuff.

If you're sending units to oblivion, you need to get some new tactics.

Is your opponent China? Do they have a cho-ko-nu in their city?

The cho-ko-nu shoots twice. That's how they're doing it.
