AI tech versus University of Sankore

Does building University of Sankore deter the AI from researching paper? If so, I should consider doing that more often to dissuade them from working towards liberalism.

AI just generally doesn't feel to be too fond of paper tech, imho.

Agreed. But if you can make the AI even less fond of paper, that opens up some more aggressive uses of liberalism.

Never thought of that, you may have a good point here. On the other hand i have a feeling that they don't research paper anyway before they have researched until at least engineering and banking. Some AIs love to go nationalism->constitution or gunpowder-chemistry, maybe you increase the chance of them going that way by building Uos.

It's hard to build the UoS before an AI sets its sights on Paper.

I've always felt it's easy to get if wanted, and most of the time i simply won't build it because lack of religion/religion buildings.
