Would anyone know of a good air purifier to remove the excessive dust in my room? (or if they even work for that matter) Its not a large room, about the size of a dorm I guess.

My room has tons of dust in it, no matter how much I clean; I live in an urban area, my house is kind of old, plus I have a couple of holes in my floor. (pretty ghetto)

I am really concerned with the well being of my computer and Xbox 360. I have gotten the red rings of death before, but now I am taking measures to maintain my “repaired” one better. Such as using compressed air to blow out the dust inside.

Not to mention the health issues associated with living in a dusty environment.

Could anyone share some insight?

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong thread or has been covered already.

It's not that easy of a subject. I recently bought this. I think it filters fairly well. But it's much louder than I'd hoped it would be.

This is the one I have and it works quite well, is also quiet (I cannot hear it over the sound of my pc running.)

Its a wee bit on the more expensive side though.
