Aircraft in an Airfield

If aircraft are stacked in an airfield, do they get destroyed one at a time or all at once?

Units on an airbase are destroyed one at a time. Fighters will not scramble to protect against air attack, and any ground units stationed on an airbase will cause unhappiness as a Rep/Demo.
