ther seems to be an aeroplane option when the airships turn comes around

how do i make it attack ground targets?- itried putting the sight crosshairs over one but with no effect

oh yes and what is a time victory?

were you at war with the target? if so you can do bombing missions just like with any other aircraft

a time victory is determined by who has the biggest score on the last turn

If not at war, you cannot bomb or strike anything.

If at war with another civ:

1. Press "S" to perform Airstrike against targets
2. Press "B" to reduce cultural defense in a city OR destroy improvements

Time victory goes to whoever has the highest score by the year 2050 AD

The order icon which shows a fighter when giving orders to an airship is to "rebase" the airship to another city. Simply by hovering the mouse over the icon shows it.

thank you - i wish it was jusrt by clicking on the square which would be much simpler and is the obvious thing to do

Right clicking on a friendly (open borders or home cities) when an air unit is selected will automatically rebase it to that city (fort, carrier, sub depending on air unit). You can turn on right click menus in the options so you can use a totally visual interface, if that's your fancy.

thanks but why would i want to rebase it?- can i leave an airship in defence posture becuuse i can't make them go anywhere- in fact ithey seem uselssas the aeroplane bit won't do anything?
