1. Isn't USSR supposed to be with Allies, cuz when i played as UK, USSR stood by itself.

2. How come the Americans and Canadians (Americans mostly) hardly send any troops to help UK against Germany?

3. Is there any other way I can speed up production?

1: If Allied in Civ 4 they then share development, which I believe did not happen during WWII.
2: The AI is used to combat a common enemy, whuch may or may not help an ally.
3: No. But could try out my mod.

Depending on which country you are playing, you can research the appropriate techs to increase production by allowing you to use the more advanced civics. The usual CIV techniques also apply: increase your core population to utilize more production tiles; conquer more cities to have more population working more tiles, etc.

1. If USSR started as one of the Allies, then it would enter the war two years too early. Also, the Allies would end up at war with Finland, which didn't really happen.
