Sweden has just been bragging, all talk no action. Wouldn't last 10 seconds in the ring

And if we use the same data, but historical borders, then top three strongest nations are:

    1) Kalmar Union - 13 gold, 14 silver, 14 bronze
    2) the PLC - 10 gold, 10 silver, 3 bronze
    3) the USA - 10 gold, 7 silver, 8 bronze

    USA no longer #1 :(

I'm surprised that the Spanish and Austrian Empires don't figure in that list.

There's lots of talk of an early federal election in Australia so I'll be putting out some maps.

First up: Australian Greens federal House of Reps primary vote in 2013, by electorate.

    Spoiler :

Greens primary vote crashed from 11.76% in 2010 to 8.65% in 2013, but has since recovered and the party is now polling between 13-16%

Currently the only Greens seat is Melbourne. The surrounding four seats may flip at the next election; Higgins in particular is looking like a fun three-way race between Greens, Labor, and the incumbent Liberals. Labor also wants Melbourne back and has a young immigrant lesbian human rights lawyer as a candidate, against the balding white middle class male Greens MP, so that one will be interesting to watch.

The Sydney inner city seats also have high Greens support but are all held by very high profile and/or popular MPs and so are unlikely to be converted. Finally there's Richmond, which is a long shot but a Greens MP could get in through an alliance between the local hippies and anti-fracking farmers.

    From the World Romanist Association:

    http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/09/12/245656/-Romanistan-The-Gypsy-Republic-a-fable#

If we are to choose a particular region of Sweden for Romanistan - how about Gotland ???:

Gotland currently has just 57,200 inhabitants (18 per each km2).

It is seriously underpopulated (compared to, for example, Bangladesh).

With Bangladeshian density, Gotland could house 3,3 million people.

Swedes has been in Sweden for several thousand years though.
And the gypsies have lived in other countries for longer.

Honestly this is a pretty stupid idea

But Swedish Prime Minister himself said that people with more recent immigrant background should have priority in Sweden.

    note: former

Also, he said to make the country more open to immigrants, not to dissolve it or cede territory

Whatever... Romanistan in Sweden still makes a good Altered Map, though. :D

Has there ever been any Gypsy state, by the way?

I vaguely recall that they had some tiny sovereign principalities in Medieval Europe.

Sweden must agree with the proposition and create a Romani state in Gotland.
