Altered Maps ': To make a map larger than what it maps.

The difference in granulation between population density (as precise as possible for the map) and income (country-level) is mildly misleading, though.

^Malta has at least 15 (16) cities? :hmm:

:)

Malta has a population of about 450 000 people. The capital of Malta, Valletta, has a population about 7000.

Honestly, I'm not sure Valletta even qualifies as a city.

Apparently Malta doesn't distinguish between villages, towns, and cities.

The map is also slightly deceiving in that .. for example teh capital of India is taken to be just the city proper - not the whole metro area. So for example that makes Washington DC a lot tinier than it actually is, if you want to be honest about it.

Electricity bill ????

Vatican City, San Marino, Monaco, Liechtenstein... I don't see any extra micronations.

Well, Monaco shares no border with Italy.

In Altered maps, another good old fashioned balkanization, this time of Oceania.
I must admit it's a bit messy, but the point is clear….

Some time in the future:

Main changes:
-Unification of the 13-15 pacific micro nations, with the remaining colonial standings.
-Separation of the Moluccas from Indonesia (an actual independent movement actually exists, although small), Papua New Guinea has all the island.
-Korea Unification because why not.
-Japanese rightful claims over pesky russians taken back.
-End of commies in china, reunification with taiwan.

Oh, in the case you didn't realize, this is not meant to be very historical……xD
