Russia :

1) Defeat Mongolia till 1775 (as a symbol for the conquest/settlement of Siberia)
2) Own a city at the Pacific Ocean by 1850 (as a symbol for the vast landmass of Russia)
3) Be the first to develop Satellites (beep, beep, beep .. Sputnik)

(The Apolla Program is simply not Russian, you know ..)

The Apollo Program is not Russian, but they did start the space race. Anyway, It would be nice to see a Cold War something included. For both USA and Russia: have the largest number of ISBM's in 1980. Force the two sides into an arms race.
