Am I "Copying and Pasting" Right?

I decided I'd try to make a unit through copy and paste just a little while ago. I opened up the standard run animation (where the civ-specific part of the unit is red) of both units in flicster, went to the export tab, and clicked export. I opened up both in photoshop, and started copying and pasting the head of one onto the body of the other. So far I've finished the 1st row (Westbound Running), and from afar it looks pretty good. I plan to do two rows a day or so and finish in a month or so.

Did I do anything wrong yet? Mostly I'm worried about the civ-specific coloring. And also, what do I do with the pcx. after I'm done copying and pasting all the rows? That is, now that it's gone from flc. to pcx., after I do the editing, how can I make it go back to flc. again?

Any tips or other help would also be appreciated.

Until now, no mistakes.

As for what to do with the PCX, once you finish everything, open the FXM file, select the Export tab, and export it to a FLC.

Err.. how do I do that? I don't know what program to open up the FXM file in... flicster?

Edit: Ah ok, I figured it out. I've only done SW direction for the run.flc but it's looking good, save for some things popping out of the sides of his head.
