America: End of Days

    America is a husk of its former self. For 16 years the United States was ruled by a brutal, communist dictatorship. Democracy, freedom of speech, and the American way of life are suppressed by the totalitarian state. In 1944, Eisenhower overthrows the communist Earl Browder in an attempt to restore some semblance of peace among the nation’s citizens. For a few years they attempt to press on, but America was pushed too far. The brutal communist rule and then immediate return back to capitalism shook the people to their very core. Fed up with the government at hand, the United States fractured and divided. First weakened by the war to end communist rule, and now destroyed by its own facilities. The once united states of America now name themselves as a part of 4 different countries. The socialist, democratic USSA in New England, the spiritual successor to America, the Kaskaskia Confederation, an autocratic nation based in the rolling plains of the Midwest, the Dixie States, a virulently racist dictatorship in the South, and the Lemnitzer Regime, a brutal totalitarian state comprising what used to be the capital lands of America. These states now define themselves as separate, but as cooperative, under the United States Pact. Will you break this pact and try to restore America to its former glory? Or will you perpetuate the idea that America will no longer be what it was?​


    This mod is based off of the amazing hit Civ 4 story America: Write Your Own History. Six people and I worked together to build this mod and we spent a lot of time and put a lot of effort into this mod. We hope everyone likes it and to understand it truly it would be best to read the story, or at least the last 10 years of the story.

    I really enjoyed the story. And do you guys plan on updating this further and expanding its universe (such as adding new UUs to more civs)

    Anyway, I got an immediate error about Leaderheads when loading; I was still able to play though. And why does Indonesia have a Navy SEAL UU?

    The immediate errors have no effect on gameplay. We do intend to expand the universe further as we go on. The reason for that is because Indonesia is based off of the American civ.

    ya, i downloaded the mod, unrar, and place it in the bts folder, game version is 3.19, when i try to load the mod, nothing changes, is a vanilla version of bts

    Go to public maps in the mod, click on 1956-Fall of America. Then take a screenshot of the problem once it shows, if it dose.

    No, the mod is based on the story that I linked in the first post. Read it if you have the time. It's great. Also, I don't actually know if the world will kaput, that's a good question :p

    If not, that's something we should add given what happened in the story. Obviously it shouldn't say the world cracked like an egg but it should say he world is uninhabitable.

    Sorry for the long wait before a reply. Got busy with RL and haven't had a chance to check it again. Anyways Mediafire is working now so unless someone else gets the problem little point trying to figure it out. Was probably some maintenance of something on Mediafire's end of it
