Kansas City captured from the formerly neutral state of Missouri.
"You\re either with me, or against me," as Joe McCarthy would say 90 years later.

No news other than it's April 1865 and the Confederacy will last slightly longer than it did in real life. So there's that.

No news - pretty much guaranteed you'll have a marginal victory now but I maintain making it this far was a (im) moral victory of my own lol

I wasn’t able to get a round in before I had to leave this morning and I won’t be back until Tuesday :(

If you’ll allow me a proud father moment, my son pulled this whopper out a short while ago. 16.44lb at 42”. Probably won’t amaze our European or Canadian friends but man if this isn’t the biggest anyone with his last name has ever caught on Lake Champlain!

It’s a northern and the biggest one I’ve ever seen out of Champlain. Caught it near Crown Point. They’re rumored to get a tad bigger here but not much honestly. I’ve been fishing the lake for some 35 years or so and never got anything even close. Oddly, we found them all stacked somewhere they never are, and we got sick of catching 10lb after he landed this one lol. Not bad for a nine year old!!!
