Nuclear weaponry is not even theoretical yet.

(But you know, there are also the Hittites)

That's what I was thinking but I didn't want to crush their dream :p

Still working on the Survey. But to give a general idea of our situation, the Noyyau have:
telegraphs, radio, cinema, newspapers, photography, automobiles, widespread electricity, (early) plastics, and have just discovered flight.

So compared to now it's the 20s or so?

1920s or 30s, that sounds about right. Also fits well with the military tech we have, Infantry, Light Artillery and Steam Warships.

The Noyyau home continent looks like the island of New Guinea, with the midpoint between Saraksha and Aachen being the equivalent of where Port Moresby is located.

By the way, where did you get the name "Noyyau" in the first place?

The etimology of "Noyyau" is lost in the mists of time... some heretics claim it is a completely random name.

When I was a small kid and received my first computer ever, with the high tech that was Windows 3.11, I had a lot of fun changing the keyboard layout to some language for which I had no fonts, and enjoyed the random weird accented and otherwise strange letters generated by random button mashing.

Noyyau is one of those words.

I like the ring to it, "Noyyau"

what's the correct pronunciation?

You anglo-speakers and your non phonetic reading! :crazyeye:

No as in "november" (a spanish or italian no).
yy as a double strenght y in "yes"
a as in "car"
u as in "zulu"
