An interesting concept

I am considering making a scenario that centers around an alternate World War 2 involving Communists taking over Germany instead of the Nazis then followed by a Soviet German Alliance invading Europe. Does this sound like an interesting idea? Any advice is welcome.

It could also be very challenging to fight against.

Yea the US would balance it out but will it just be Russia-Germany or will their be more with them?
