I think windmills went slowly obsolate with electricity. Once you have electricity, you can do the milling in the cities near the bakeries and don't need to bring your grain to the distant windmills.
I think that is the reason.
Or their machinery is improved so they can do their job better?
Regardless of the reason, I was just surprised since I only just now noticed it, and the food on those windmills is the one thing keeping my tundra cities alive
Those new-and-improved milling practices you mentioned Sogroon are going to kill my citizens soon!![]()
Hi there !
Been playing a new game for a few hours with AND2.1 (latest stable build, not svn version) with the "Choose religion" option. However, even if I'm the first civ to discover, say, Ceremonial Burial, nothing happens... Is this normal ?
Thanks !

First of all, I just want to say, amazing job on the mod, I really like the progress and direction it is going, especially the tech tree. Now, onto some feedback:
- When I complete building Blarney Castle, the screen zooms in to show the video clip, but nothing happens, just hangs there
- The "No Auto Corporation Founding" in BUG screen option and "Realistic Corporations" option don't seem to work together. They way it should work, in my opinion, is that you need Great Person to establish a corporation/guild and then the corporation spreads automatically, with speed of spreading depending on civics (subsidy/tax levy). Don't know if it is bug or not, but it persisted for quite some time now.
One more time, props to Mod dev team and everyone who contributed, keep up the good work.![]()

Hi 45°, I cleared the cache and tried on a new game but still nothing happens when I discover Ceremonial Burial first
Edit : In fact, even without the Choose religions option, still no religion founding. I'll do some tests with options

If you're using 670 or later, which I think you are if you have Blarney Castle, you shouldn't be seeing anything at Ceremonial Burial - I moved Kemetism up to Polytheism (and then Hinduism up to Literature).
From what I'm seeing, the Blarney Castle movie is working; it's a still clip, so it's not animated at all, and I do notice that the movie frame goes black first before filling in with the image. So I don't know what is going on there.
My game still freeze when i'm not using Graphic paging(i can move on the map, but can't zoom. The cursor keep spinning).
Here's another savegame.
When I 1st loaded your game it want a Re-Calc, which I did. Game was started with 668 build. For it to want a Re-Calc I would say you are not using the latest SVN build. This save I provided is saved under 671 build.
At 403BC there are 20 known AI plus yourself with a total of 51 Known cities. Now with Barb World and Barb Civ on Plus REV you could be hitting 40+ civs by now. If your computer is a 32bit OS you are probably maxing it out. Plus you need 3GB of main ram and at least 1 GB of video ram. Computer specs and OS would be useful info.
It's not the game my friend it's your computer and Game set up.
