An island paradise they had promised... a beautiful home surrounded by pristine water in a tropical climate, far away from the mainlands concerns. When you first signed up for the Deserted Island Getaway Package with Nook Inc., you thought that you would stay on the Island for only awhile; living life on your own before coming back, just months later. Now, months later, you've discovered one problem with this vision: they'll let you travel to other nearby islands, but they won't let you come back home. It seems that Nook Inc. has been profiting massively off your activities on the Island, despite the deal seeming so sweet and generous at first. They made and paid you in their Company Scrip, Bells, and simulated an economy with the goal of extracting valuable resources from your's and other's islands, deeming all of you both to great of an resource and risk of exposure to just let leave. There's one way to fight back, defeat the Nook Inc. agents across the Archipelago and leave on your own terms!

This game will use a semi-open role list and will draw upon a pre-determined setup based on the number of people who sign up. Possible roles that can be in this game and their descriptions can be found in the spoilers below. Not all of these roles will be in a game, and more than one of these can be in a game. There will be no third parties. I am aware that there are some possible roles that some people might rather not play with, so read through the possible roles lists. We were considering making it closed, but felt that some roles would be considered bastard in this community so decided to make it semi-open as a means of letting you know what you were getting into.
Phases and Voting
-Days will last 48 hours and nights will last 24 hours. Players will be allowed to talk at night. The Day Phase length may be shortened with the consent of the majority of living players before the day begins.
-Phases will start and end at 7 PM PST. There will be a slight delay between phases in which we request that you don't post.
-Vote in the Vote: Living Player format for who you should believe should be exiled during the day phase. The player with the most votes at the end of day will be exiled.
-You may unvote by typing Unvote in bold.
-In the event of a tie, the result will be determined randomly and immediately.
Rules
-Violations of these rules may result in a modkill
-Do not edit or delete your posts.
-This is a no PM game. Not means that players shall not be allowed to privately communicate with each other about the game, with the exception of the mafia team in their designated quicktopic.
-Dead players may not post in the thread, or like other people's posts after they are dead. They may make one "Bah!" comment but that is it.
-Inactive players will be replaced as needed. Players can also be replaced by request.
-You may not directly quote or share from your role PM. You may claim your character, but you may not quote specific flavor beyond that.
Lost and Found
-On odd-numbered days, players can vote for another player to receive an item from the lost and found box. This item will grant the player a one-use ability, the ability known only to themselves.
-This items' use may be roleblocked, but if the item is used by the recipient on the same night that they are roleblocked then the item will still be retained by it's recipient for future use, and they will be informed that they were roleblocked.
-Lost and Found items Can be used with a players standard ability.
-Players may vote for who will receive an item from the Lost and Found box. They may do this in the normal voting format, except colored in blue. I.e. Vote: Player. The same rules with ties apply here.
-Lost and Found items cannot be used on yourself if you possess one.
Town Win Condition: Eliminate all the mafia.
Mafia Win Condition: Equal or outnumber surviving town players.
