Well I had a friend try to install it and he followed your instructions to the letter with the same result as mine. He just couldn't get it to show up. I think there might be something wrong with your mod.

Send me exactly the files you are trying to use. Cause if i just d/led it and used it without any problems what so ever along with over 1000 other people that d/led it??

Well this is just the Copy Civ2 that you gave me to put into the mods folder. That's the only file I've really been working with, unless you want me to send you the whole Mods folder. Any other files you want to take a look at?

I see where the problem is, there was two files missing: And make sure you only use Play Now.
You cant take out ANY of the files that are in there, you took out the modules and Custom Civilizations folder, you have to leave them in.

I feel like I'm doing something wrong with the Play Now. I just found a new city and play for a few turns, then I go back to the main menu, then to Play Now and it still doesn't show up. I have the modular XML Loading set to 1 so I don't know what else I could do.

Like i said, you took out two files in the one i sent you, you cant take out any files what so ever and cant change any names either, not until you really know what is going on is all, you have to place the Copy Civ in the same area as AfterWorld etc , just the way it is. Then Advanced, load a mod, and select Animal Empire.
Files have to be:
Copy Civ2/Assets/Modules/Custom Civilizations/Animal_Empire
EDIT: I just checked, see attached, works fine for me.

Wait, so is Animal Empire supposed to show up on the mods menu?

Only Copy Civ2 shows up on the mods menu not animal empire. And Animal Empire never shows up on the Civ Selection screen.

OK, nothing wrong with the files, this time. You just have to place the complete Copy Civ2 folder in the same area as AfterWorld/Road to War etc, and go to advanced, load a mod, pick copy civ2, and go from there.

I still don't understand why it doesn't work. I have everything installed exactly as you directed. I loaded up the mod and the Animal Empire still doesn't show up anywhere on the list of civilizations.
Fall from Heaven 2 works, so I don't understand why none of the other civilizations show up.

Well all i can say is you got to be doing something wrong, sorry, but i have tried everything, sorry, but i know for a fact it works fine.

I found a fix to get around the problem. I think I should be able to use it now.
