Animation for Viking UU

I've decided to create a new Civ for the Vikings, being Skandinavian, I felt, I had to. Even if I'm the only one to ever use it. I wanted their unique unit to be a longboat.

However, I wouldn't know where to be begin, creating a new animation for it, and it just dosn't seem complete without it. Does anyone have any ideas or tips for creating new animations for new units?

Any help would be appreciated.

THANK YOU!!!! I'm so glad somebody decided to make a Viking civilization--I was so mad that Firaxis left us Scandinavians out in the cold! Civ 2 included the Vikings, and I don't know why they would choose to ignore us in Civ 3!!
