OK. I've DL'd this and scanned with AVG. Everything seems to be on the up and up. I'm not sure what the deal is with this but it says FREE. The program usually costs 39.99 or something retail. Granted this may just be a 30 day trial version but it hasn't said anything about a 30 day trial. So I'm guessing this is a free version. There is no prompt for a CD key.
I paid for the program a couple years back and now I may have lost it to my virus infected storage drive. So in desperation I checked for a free copy. This is what I found.
As a unit maker I find animation shop absolutely indispensible in testing unit animations before doing FLCs as well as doing the previews for them. TopGun if you're out there I know you didn't have this one a while ago. This may be a good opportunity to give it a try. Like I say I couldn't imagine doing a unit without the aid of Animation Shop. I've especially found it handy in experimenting with new animations and what not. This is the site where I found the link:

[no this isn't a joke. I did a google search and found the link to the free version on a message board called jokeroo and it seems to work for real.]
If anyone encounters any problems please let me know. I'm curious why this is apparently being offered for free.
