In the past we used to post a list of new Civ3 files each week on the frontpage news. Now we are ready to resume the feature to give new/updated Civ3 files more exposure, but we'll do it a little differently this time.

This is the resources.pcx file used to display resources in the game. Many people have requested access to the C3C scenario resources for their C3C epic game. This the main file you'll need to accomplish that. Visit the thread for more great info and instructions.

What's new in this version?: First Version.

In conjunction with resources.pcx, you may want this file in order to see your new luxury resources in the city screen. This file is not necessary, but you will not get a pretty little picture in the City Screen if you don't use it. :) There are two versions. One is for Civ vanilla and PtW, the other is for C3C. Visit the thread for more great info and instructions.

What's new in this version?: Epic & Mesoamerican version

Alters the resources.pcx file used to display resources in the epic-game. All resources get labels and icons to make them easy to spot and provide information about the benefits of each resource.

Version 1.1 also has Labels and icons for the Mesoamerican conquest

What's new in this version?: Compared to Firaxis´original conquest this version has additional graphics (advisors, background art, city style, some changed buildings etc.) especially made for this scenario, more units, and several changes on the stats of existing units.

What's new in this version?: Modpack, C3C

This package consists of two parts: a mod containing all C3C unit animations and a scenario that uses the mod.

The mod also contains several other features, including a new Government. A lot of effort has spent meshing the new units into the tech tree in a balanced yet innovative way that should be simple for the AI to understand and still offer new capabilities. Especially in the modern era this allows having different units for various combinations of resources - making them both less critical and more interesting at the same time.
Although the mod is, as the title suggests, primarily intended to be played as the Japanese, all civs are very playable.

In the scenario you lead Japan from the dawn of written history into the modern era.

Anyone is free to use or modify this scenario, in part or in whole, in any way they want as long as this does not infringe upon the copyright of Firaxis (or any other relevant parties). So, if you are new to C3C, this is a good starting point for making your own scenario.
