Hello everybody, I'm here to announce an AI-Only 32-man tournament running on the following settings:
  • 1v1 Single Elimination Bracket
  • North vs. South Map type
  • No City States
  • All AIs play on Deity
  • AIs are always at war with each other
  • A winner is declared once one AI controls all the cities on the map
Here is the bracket for the tournament, make your prediction brackets (ala March Madness) now! /vg/ guys are predicting a Roman victory, but personally, I'm feeling like France will pull it out. All games will be streamed here , and the first match will be played sometime later tonight, I will announce it then. Good luck to all the AIs and good luck to all of those who make a bracket!
Also, vote in the pre-competition strawpoll!
Edit: Tournament is set to begin in 12 minutes, at 6:30 Central time.

2 questions:

1) Did you intentionally leave the Huns out because you knew they'd win in a landslide?
2) How did you set up a game without a human player?

How would you control starts? It seems like there would be too many uncontrolled variables that would have an effect on the outcome. I would think it would require winner best out of 5 or something to help keep the results accurate.

It does confirm the idea that the Iroquois are one of the strongest AIs.
