Annoying 'I don't know' posts

Something that is probably uncontrollable, never the less annoying, is when you post a question and someone posts something like 'I don't know' to your question and your question gets over looked because people don't always read all the posts and tend to read the most recent.

If someone wants to post replies like that, I don't care, it's better than worse spamming like this

Actually, the fact that somebody posts "I don't know" in your thread probably works to your advantage, as it bumps your thread back to the top. This gives it more time to find those who may indeed have the answer.
