Has anyone done the Tower of Babel yet ? I don't think I've ever seen it.
I have a wonder project at home that would be perfect to go with this splash.

Wasn't Tower of Babel simply Marduk Ziggurat in Babylon? Ukas has made a wonderful ziggurat, that can be found in bulding & wonder library.

(although it looks nothing like the wonder splash here )

Ziggurat was rather a temple, the tower was to protect Marduk from raiders.

Yah, yah, thats religion. Many aspects there, I had a friend who had to complete a fine, large board with information about Babylon for his history and according to his professor, it was the way I previously explained.

Well, I don't want to get into an argument about this, but the general consensus about the subject seems to be that Tower of Babel refers to one of the ziggurats in Mesopotamia. Possibly one of the chief ziggurats of Marduk in Babylon.

But like I said, let's not get into an argument about this. The thread is about your wonderful creations, not about the historics of the Tower of Babel.
