Its a term used mostly by people who are pro US govt against people who are anti-US govt. Its usually used as a blanket term to ridicule some beliefs that the user cant properly counter in an argument.
to people who use the term (loads do, I even have myself), would you ever consider usiong it for another country? i.e. China, facing criticism for its various human rights abuses, what would you think if you hard someone explain it away as 'anti-Sinoism' or people criticising russia being simply labelled 'anti-Russian'
the only other country that used it was the USSR, 'anti-Sovietism' was a phrase in use throughiout its lifetime
