I am talking about the suicide attack in Bulgaria, of course.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-18897772

7 people, one of them being the Bulgarian bus driver, were killed, scores were injured. I believe this is one of the first such attacks in the EU territory. According to Israeli officials, Hezbollah (=Iran) is probably responsible for this savagery. What's more alarming is that they are not afraid to do this outside the Middle East.

If this turns out to be true, I say it is about time to end Hezbollah, this time with full international support for the operation.

Local jihadists in Bulgaria are pretty rare. Apparently, the attacker was there on fake US papers.

That's actually pretty surprising considering what I know about Bulgaria.

The attacker had a Michigan driver's licence that "was probably faked".

Israeli government very quick to blame Hezbollah specifically. Wild guessing or did they have some prior knowledge. If so, were the Bulgarian government warned? Will we ever know?

It takes one incident to warrant the term "spreads"?

    Yes.

Apparently, there have been more attempts to target Israeli tourists abroad; they were prevented by the Israeli intelligence. This one succeeded. There is speculation that Iran is taking revenge through its proxies for the US-Israeli sabotage of its nuclear programme.

In any case, destroying Hezbollah wouldn't hurt.

really surprising for me as well , knowing you from the World History section . Average Muslim in Bulgaria is probably as drunk as the next Bulgarian .

burgaz is a bad spot for Israelis , the Ukranians shot down the airliner after it took of from the same airport .

I used to space my punctuation like that too till Mango Elephant showed me the light. Now, I far prefer a space only after the full stop, comma etc.

What is it about me in World History that gives you that impression?

Well yes, but Pubs are a great place to practice terrorism.

The Bulgarians were warned that an attack targeting Israeli tourists would happen way back in January.

But its not like the Israelis are innocent of using proxies to attack Iranians if the Wikileaks are to be believed.

Oh yes, clearly the response should be Israel using disproportionate force against a neighbor again.
