Even if the story the OP and his sources present is exactly as it is, i think there is a point to make about propportionality here. In propportion a beating isn't so newsworthy, one could highlight the supposed ideological motivation and hate speech attached but that isn't coman in such a context.

With other words, it seems like a really marginal occurence, the type of random thing that can happen in many forms, there isn't a trend for this per se.

Well i'm not really much into the old facism, but what i wonder is why you think that the issue you perceive needs to be solved with the full package of Facism? I mean ... couldn't we just put all the ones outside that we don't want theoreticly and then continue with a liberal democracy? I don't know facism had a lot of specific economic policy's that were relevant in a time of economic depression but i think it would hurt this economy if we do away with capitalism for full blood "central planned economy" facism. No'r do i see the need for dramatic shifts to building machine's of war, i mean by now we really should have enough stuff to slap the whole world 4 times over.

I live in this rich and calm Belgian town of Ypres. We got immigrants too, they open nightshops and pitta bars and those are usefull at a certain hour, we Belgians like to drink so were often out long and Muslims shouldn't drink but our stuff really is too good so most of them do it anyway. The most integrated are the youngsters though, they are truly the kind of snotty egoistic "semi anarchistic" pampered materialist brats screwing around our women just like i used to do at that age. Really integrated to our superficial culture they are.

True, it must have been a century ago when we had something like a stabbing or a gunfight, and were currently celebrating the 100 years that are past since the Germans shot Ypres to pieces.
But this is a special kinda place in this regard, see our fields around here are littered with graveyards, millions of youngsters came here to die, it does something on the people's perception here on the use of violence.
