I was saying it before you. Trump has emboldened the scummiest among us, but they were already heading towards emerging from the shadows. The secret societies working against the nation with their "take our country back" venom boiling quietly beneath their skins were getting further and further marginalized and were never going to just die out with quiet dignity. They are doomed to "rise up," and get themselves crushed, and we will all be better for it.
