Hey all,

So I've been playing with this idea for a scenario for a while now, but never really get any further than putting the cities on a map. So I figure it's too much for me to do on my own...

So I was wondering if there was anyone else out there who would be interested...

Some of the problems I run into
- How to trigger American and later Chinese civil wars. At the moment, my idea is to do it somehow via social policies (eg social policy generates unhappyness (US this would be abolish slavery, China adopts western values) this then generates the unhappyness rebels) but this requires a complete redesign of the social policy tree. This may also mean that China and America require their own individual social policy trees...
- How to get France involved in SE Asia. Best idea so far is to give France and China influence over Vietnam (Hue) (create conflict), have China control Hanoi and Saigon and hope France tries to take Hanoi and Saigon. Haven't found a global map big with SE Asia big enough to do that though...
- How to jump start European colonization in Africa. My best idea so far is to include an Omani/Arab civ, that sells its African possessions to the Europeans (as it did in real life). However, how do I get an AI to sell its cities ? This only solves the east coast part too...
- Not to mention, the some of the default UA's, UU's, UB's would need a rethink...
- Most of the city-states would be conquered throughout the length of the scenario. However, in the base game there is not much reward for doing so...
- How civs are supposed to negotiate dividing up territory there are no cities in. (Berlin conference, Manchuria). Seriously no idea on that one...
