Any issues running BTS on latest W10 laptops?

Hi,

I am about to buy a new Windows laptop. I assume it will be Windows 10. Has anyone had or heard of issues running Civ 4 BTS on new Dell or HP laptops?

I am considering a lighter model with an SSD and no disk drive (will download from Steam). What should I look for in specs, besides ability to run DirectX 9?

New laptops are more than capable of running the game. I played just fine on Win 10 until recently and my specs are: i-3 CPU 2.5GHz, 8GB RAM, dedicated AMD RADEON HD 8600M.

However, the Windows themselves are the problem - the game is unplayable after the latest update but it could just be me. I opened a thread on it and hope to find a fix.

The biggest problem with that computer is having Windows 10 and steam on it.
