Any plans for new minor civs?

I love Realism Invictus and the recent balance changes to separatism and formable nations has made me really enjoy the feature. But I think it would be nice if there were a few more minor civs, especially since there are notable 'gaps' if you want to play on a world map or are going for a themed custom map. Eastern Europe has some notable omissions; there's no Bulgaria or Serbia to help make the balkans a powderkeg, no Czechia/Bohemia (unless we're counting Austria, but still), and Armenia seems lonely without Georgia. East Asia is also pretty empty, especially now that Taiwan has been removed; there's no Jurchen/Manchu (especially notable since North China jumps from the Tang to Mao), nothing to represent the non-Han parts of South China and the only Indochinese civ is the Khmer. It's also notable that France doesn't really have a breakaway subculture civ in the same way that most other European civs do despite being the basis for much of European civilization; no Burgundy or Savoy, no Normans or Bretons, not even Canada Quebec. I hope we'll see some new minor civs in the future.

I did have a couple of ideas in that regard, and they largely align with what you outlined; absolutely no promises though, as these are strictly secondary to lots of other planned stuff.

That's nice to hear, thanks for responding and for still keeping this mod alive after all these years! Can't wait for the turn of the year update!

Really would love if Brazil became a major civ in the future. If the US can be a major, why not Brazil? If Portugal does double-duty, then the US should become a minor civ of England.

(also, why the Portuguese can't buid Fazendas? That is something puzzling to me)

If Brazil ever became a major, I think some of the OTL Brazilian breakaways/portuguese colonial areas as minors would make sense. Grão-Pará (North Brazil, used to be its own colony directly ruled from Lisbon, tried to secede during the Cabanagem), Confederation of the Equator (Northeast Brazil, tried to break away once), Rio Grandense Republic/Piratini (Southern Brazil, tried to secede at about the same time as the Cabanagem)...

Talking about Lusophonic Minor civs... Kingdom of Kongo/Angola? A bit complicated due to being both african and lusophonic.

(also... would Galicia be a portuguese or spanish breakaway?)
