any simple solution to lagging?

ohyeah, seen a couple of them now.
I've just finished a game on a standard map with minimalized graphic settings and its playable. Ill try a bigger map and see how it goes.
Anyway thanks for all your help and if any other problems occures you'll might just hear from me again.

Nice One

Your Pentium M will be pulling you through - its a cracking processor re "multi-media" and a lot of the latter applies to Civ IV. It has limitations on high 3D requirements with low graphics, as you have seen. Expect more frequent / earlier hassles on the Huge map or late game large map.

Do your best re minimising the load on System RAM & Video RAM, it will give you more room to let the Pentium M do its stuff - thats v important with low end graphics
