Any SLI Users?

I'm just wondering if anyone is running Civ V with SLI. If so, what SLI mode? Any problems?

I can't WAIT to get out of work!!!

I'm using 2 9800GTX and it works fine. Tried turning SLi on and off to see what it's giving me, seems to be very close to +100%.

I was under the impression that SLI(when both cards are enabled) that it only gave you an increase of roughly 30%?

No that was years ago, when SLI was just new, nowadays you usually get close to +100% on all modern games. SLI makes a lot of sense now, even for medium budget computers, as you can get two cheap cards that together perform better than one expensive card and for a lower price.

If you want to SLI two modern cards go with the 460 GTX, it is cheaper and more powerful

So I tried AFR 1 and 2 but ended up leaving it on nVidia recommended (Custom) and it's running fine on my laptop (2x8700M) using DX9. It did run in DX11, but not all that well, but given the cards in question, that's not a surprise.

I'm so glad it runs acceptably on my laptop. I've got a desktop that just kills it with everything maxed out (DX11), but having portable Civ is awesome.
