Any way of changing the prefferences in mid game?

I have just started a game on a huge world and one level up from what I normally play. I knew it would be tougher but it is going pretty well so far.

On lower levels I usually won by conquest but that isn´t possible this time on a huge world. I have just noticed, however, that I have left all the victory conditions on. This means that I ought to win a cultural victory.

So here is the question:

Can I change the victory conditions so that cultural is turned off and I can win by the space race?

I don`t think this is possible.... Maybe there`s an editor that can do it somewhere, but you might run into serious AI troubles here....

So I take it it isn´t possible..........
