I had an amazing start on a monarch map but I made a mistake where I settled my city initially. I have a 4000 BC save but I only saved it after I settled the city. :crazyeye:

Is there any way to reset the save file back to the very first turn? I attached the save file in question, as you see it's a great start but I wanted to try settling 1N from original location to get the extra :food: from fish. No I do not have the initial auto-save file. :(

(you are still on turn 0) You can always go into WB and delete the city and resettle - either add back a settler or just use WB option to build a city (I think under improvements tab). However, just so you know, I see absolutely no reason to do so. Where you settled is great and has plenty of food. You can settle 3N of that spot to share rice and grab the fish there (insta trade route too). Where you settled is actually ideal here.

Isn’t there a startsave in the autosave folder?
Yes. There is always an autosave of the game start before anything has been done by the player or AIs in the AutoSave folder. It never gets deleted nor replaced until a new game is started or you manually delete it. It is called "AutoSave_Initial_BC-4000.CivBeyondSwordSave".

CGQ clearly stated in OP that he does not have the autosave for that game.
