Any way to tie a policy to an ability?

I'm looking for an example policy enables an ability on a unit while the policy is slotted, and disables it when it is inactive. Is that possible with the current database? I know how to create modifiers and abilities set to inactive, but the missing link is an example policy that flips the switch to make the ability active when the policy is slotted. Any help is much appreciated. :)
 
Answering my own thread. I found a way to make it work, sort of, by ignoring "unitabilities" and just applying the modifier directly with a requirementset. Seems to work so far. Sorry for wasting board space. :)
