Any way to turn off the annoying notification ticking sound when you close menus?

This feels like it should be a pretty easy thing to turn off, but I can't find any resources or mods that do this. I'm surprised at this to be honest, since almost every person I've watched play CIV VII has complained about that sound.

Anyone figured out how to turn it off? I'm referring to the circular notifications that pop up above the next turn button on the bottom right, and make a *tick* sound as they slide out whenever a menu is closed, just for clarification.

You can just right-click them to remove them from the queue. That's what they're there for - to notify you of something that happened, and disappear once you've noticed.

What a strange reply. Obviously they're there to notify you? But there is no need for them to make a sound every single time you open and close a menu, which is like 15-20 times in one turn. Having to dismiss 10 laggy notification bubbles every single turns is good game design?

Yea, there are several UI items that should only fire a sound once a turn. If you do some action before picking a celebration bonus, it plays the sound every time.

I don't think I've ever had ten of them in one turn.

That said, yeah I'd say it is? They're the first thing I address every turn (which also neatly gets rid of them appearing 15-20 times in one turn). The notifications that spawn up there tend to be quite minor, takes like 10 seconds to go through them all, and it's good to know if there's a disaster that might be coming my way, or someone built a wonder I had my eye on, or a war has ended.

I'd say, the issue with them isn't that they exist, the issue is that they spawn in agonizingly slowly after you leave a menu, meaning you have to wait for them to actually show up before you can go through them.
