Anyone asked Firaxis for a new patch?

I was thinking since Hunt Valley, Md (Firaxis home office) is somewhat close to me.

Has anyone considered asking Firaxis for a patch to address some of the issues our coders and modders here have encountered?

What about an Indiegogo campaign to cover the cost? $50 donation?

I'll bet Koshling, AIAndy, SO could put together a quick list.

Multi-threading, multi-maps, x64 support, etc...

Not sure Firaxis would say "yes"... but we could ask.

A new patch is highly unlikely given they have released Civ5 some time ago.

seeing the Age of Civ 4 and the fact Civ 5 is steamrolling like crazy you will be lucky to have a 1% chance of them actually Reading the letter

also if i'm not mistaken the problems the team is facing is Hardcoded and from what i understood was that Hardcoding also means trouble for the Dev's (please do shoot this down if i am mistaken)
