Well, this could be fun. I'd love to see Less than Jake again, and Jet, Pearl Jam and Flogging Freaking Molly Im sure will put on good shows.

You guys need to break out and listen to some of the good old stuff.

IMO there isn't one band from the 1990's or 2000's that will have to longevity of band from prior decades. I feel sorry for you guys.

Now, you raise an interesting question, and maybe I'll make my own thread about it..but I have to disagree. I think we might still be talking about Dave Mathews, Pearl Jam and Radiohead. Perhaps also the White Stripes, I dunno. *maybe*.

Yeah, i'm off with my girlfriend and a few friends. TBH, i don't really like rock music all that much, but if she's going i'll have to go to. I will be stewarding also, so i have my ticket refunded (which my girlfriend has paid for due to my lack of funds ).

Not a massive fan of Reading/Leeds lineup this year to be honest.

Hopefully I got a Reading ticket. Me and probably thousands of others are still waiting on confimration e-mails.

The Reading sunday top 2 are awesome...The Smashing Pumpkins and Nine Inch Nails

Me and about fifty of my closest friends are off again, think this year theres a couple of bus loads of folk i know going, got tickets, got registration number, gf in tow and ready to go.

I would say line up looks worse than last year, im not a big NIN fan or smashing pumpkins but they seem to have spread the emo bands out this year whereas last year you could just avoid the mainstage on saturday.

Further to leeds, going to glasto as well whilst i do think the lineup for glasto is 10 times better far more of my mates are going to leeds so not too sure which will be better.

It just me and loz going to leeds then?

If this was 91 92 or 93 even Ide be there in no time, but only like two of those bands interest me at all, and whats worse is most of those bands I despise.

I'm not fussed on the Reading/Leeds lineup. I would go to Download pretty much only for Dream Theater (ok, there are a couple of other bands I wouldn't mind seeing), but I'd much rather see them on there own for one of their insanely long sets. I'd wish they'd play a Dublin date. But I've got The Who, Aerosmith and Foo Fighters to see this summer. Also, I saw Chuck Berry in Janurary which was awesome. It's quite a nice year for concerts.
