Anyone got this modpack working nowadays?

So I went through an somewhat not easy quest of getting a version of a modpack (finding required DLLs were less tedious)... Only for me to be unable to open the city view to build the very first building, to open the research tree for choosing research... Well, basically, nothing that opens new windows opens.

Am I doing something wrong or I got some conflict going on? The modpack is practically on hiatus and the DLLS are newer ones. I want to try this modpack out, can anyone share what specifications they got on their working pair of mod and DLLs?
 
Hi, sorry for being months late. I just tried it using whowards v88 dll and cctp 4.05 and it works fine.

Btw, for those wondering how to get whowards v88 nowadays, just go to his website on April 28, 2017 and it's there.

Not sure how stable the mod is on newer whowards versions. I've had issues but not sure if it's due to whowards dll.

EDIT: Try the version located at this github repo under the dev branch. Apparently it fixes a lot of gamestopping bugs that can happen up to at least the modern era (might be some after though, unsure).

Also make sure to clear your game cache, don't use EUI, and make sure you arent using any other mods.

Update: I was running into some issues with specialist outputs being bugged. For some reason installing IGE fixed this problem. I'm guessing the devs mostly tested the mod with IGE (since it makes it easier) and unknowingly made it essentially a dependency.
 
Hmmm, yeah, cleared the cache, downloaded v.88 a while ago, and installed IGE with deleting EUI (though is there a way to just turn it off to turn it on later?), and it worked. Coolio! Happiness was really just around the corner.

Will the modpack work with later whowards versions?
 
Thanks works a treat. I have a couple of problems.
1 turn times take forever, much longer than bone, is everyone else noticing the same?
2 i tried to load a save but after hitting continue game it froze.
3 getting lag spikes when opening any of the tech trees.
Are people getting the same bugs, and has anyone got a fix. It may just be my low end computer.

Yeah it's still buggy, installing EUI only temporarily fixed the issues I was having. Sooner or later they cropped back up again.
