And how in hell do you manage? After I got sucked in by WoW AGAIN  I find that my Civ-ing is suffering :( Damn you WoW

Eh. There are only 24 hours in one day! You can't possibly play both!

Eating, sleeping, and necessary biological functions need at least 15 minutes of that time you know... ;)

WoW scares the living daylights outta me.

One of my friends used to hate it, until he actually started playing the game.

He logged 20 hours in one weekend. And he hadn't even bought his own account yet, he was bumming time off of someone else's.

Holy crap.

Worse yet people killed themself over this game, and I've seen a lot of lives ruined due to this game.

Yeah, i've never really been the sorta dude that can spend hours on end non stop with computer games.

2-3 hours is the max I can pull in one sitting before I wanna do something else.

but WoW, holy sh!t. I seriously wonder if the game is packaged with cocaine powder.

Which is exactly why I won't buy it.

I tried the demo for two weeks. And I have to tell you I wasn't too impressed. The quests are repetetive and boring, the battle system is too simple, and the graphics arent that great. I'm kinda glad I never got hooked on the 'community' aspect of it. However, if I lost my job because of it, perhaps I could hit up that lv 60 dark elf for a little bit of cash.

I used to play it quite a lot. I had got to 60, and was into the whole raiding thing. Epic'd out, had gear off nefarion and all that jazz. Just didn't log in one day, and decided not to log in again. I still keep up with the game news and know a few folks who still play. My class is still filled with true idiots *sigh*.

I play Wow more than Civ, but i do mangae to get one or two games a week of Civ in. And i agree, Damn Blizzard, Wow should be outlawed.

I have 2 buddies that I feel responsible for... neither was even a gamer before they saw me play WoW... Poor devils. I did the same with my brother and Civ3, strangely he never fell for WoW or Civ4.

I play both, but never at the same time. I'll go a week or week and a ahlf with Civ, and the 2 or 3 weeks with WoW. I usually cycle such as that, although I am kinda dissappointed and haven't played WoW in about 3 weeks as of right now. I was cleaning out my comp, and apparently deleted one of the files WoW needs to run, so now I've got to re-install it, which is a process in itself. That's really the only reason I haven't played it. But the urges are starting to become uncontrollable, so I may break down and do it later today or tomorrow.

Jepp, Wow is an pure addiction game. One can compere Wow with an slot machine. It want you to put more coins in it!

I have been playing Wow for almost an year, and it is starting to geting more and more boring. Wow is also all to much time consuming, I basically wont waste that much time on it any more. I can finally begin to play Civ4 + Warlord exp. Civ4 ain't perfect either but atleast I can save game and play later when I want, and no monthly fee!! :D

With the coming WoW expansion i'll probably head back to it. I'm going to re-roll horde since i can now do it without giving up playing a paladin. I'll be on board with the same leveling partner I was before, though he'll be a shaman this time instead of a mage. Duoing with friend makes the game really fun.

Yes, I've been playing WoW for a month and a half or so now. Its amazing. I can sit to play at ten at night, and next thing I know, I need to go to bed because its four thirty in the morning. Phew!

Hasn't bought WoW, just stuck with Civ4.

*I will NOT buy WoW.*

Agreed.

I don't have anything against WOW, in fact, I will try it, but my friend has been trying to get me to get if for 3 YEARS. And I hade good reasons not too: Dial up, bad computer, but no longer (well, I still have that bad comp but I have a good one now too). I just don't want to get involed in a MMORPG. I am addicted to the computer enough and am going into grade 12.

Pretty much play one at a time. Get bored with WoW, play Civ 4. Get bored with Civ 4, play WoW.

Although I have been playing WoW longer than Civ 4.
