Blue Monkey
Archon Without Portfolio
In A Strange Discovery the capitol city of the lost civilization is "Hili-Li". I know Lovecraft was a voracious reader. I can't help but wonder if "teliki-li" (sp. ?) is a hidden homage, as he often included such oblique or obscure references. There is another sequel to Pym adventure : Jules Verne's Le Sphinx des Glaces (1897), which is also referenced in H.P. Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness (1931/1936).
