Apolytonian Request - Troop Lists

Apolyton would, for purposes of discoving the true strength of GCA, like a list of the number of troops we have. Basically, something like:

(this is an example)
4 spears
3 pikes
5 swords
etc...

That, with the military advisor's word on our strength compared to GCA (ie weak, equal, strong).

Thoughts?

Wouldn't they rather us tell them what troops that we see that GCA has near our borders? I really don't see why we have to tell them our numbers.

Zarn, they have some expert strategists on their team. They are able to pinpont exact numbers that a team has on the F11 screen (they sucessfully told me our numbers without seeing our F11 screen).

The request for our numbers of troops will help them as part of a comparison, to find out more precisely what GCA has hidden in their empire.

Excellent idea. Since we are brothers, it shouldn't bother them at all. I want to know how much power they have in their military.

EDIT: They are asking us our numbers to try to calculate the powergraph, at least I think so. There is some value behind it.

This is disturbing. First of all, knowing the number of units an enemy has can be extremely helpful in a war - the primary reason I love planting spies, in fact - it's not so important to know where they are as much as knowing how many there are.

Also, the fact that someone has taken the time to come up with a formula to determine this number is equally disturbing. Perhaps we should suggest to them that they get outside and play sports more often or something.

Hm. As long as they are our friends it will not take away my nights sleep.

And if we continue to be very close allies, I would consider it a good thing that they can predict the numbers of the other civs.

Though if we become enemies...

Personally I would not hand over our military numbers to them. If they find out that we are weak, it may be their perfect oppurtunity to take the whole continent and get themselves back into the game.

They can see our amount of cities, and if they know our unit numbers already... Waht can we lose?

That at least hints at their size compared to poly's.

Octvian, if you want a poll, that's fine by me. Anyway, I approve as long as we get their numbers as well. So, if we are going to get the info to them, we should do it, pretty soon. Then we should build more units.

I've just contacted an Apolytonian representative. They will agree to provide their troop list in exchange for ours, as well as the conclustions they reach.
