Standard size Archelepego map (Though the continents are quite big), Mayans built both Pyramids and AP, therefore I need to take them down (Currently I have the ChoKuNu, and a big load of axes/swords, I think I can take them).

They made me stop war... Or can I just choose "Never"?

AP is really annoying sometimes, but defying it isn't so bad. The hammer loss sucks, but nothing compared to when you defy a UN resolution and your nation shuts down. So. Very. Lame. They need to come up with a better measure for defying UN resolutions, since having all your cities turned to pop 1 just isn't fun.

when your cities cripple with 5 unhappy faces more you should probabely read this

When your dealing with WW, large cities, and running Caste System instead of Emancipation, ya, that can be a little annoying.

In this case (emancipation anger, ww, un-defy yes/no), you have maaany options.

1. Dont defy
2. sue for peace
3. switch to emancipation
4. switch to police state (if avail and not already in..) and/or build rushmore
5. any combination of above

I mean it's just picking what doesnt hurt you too much but which UN-res do you want to defy? I can understand almost any except environmentalism, freespeech and nuke-ban if you're going to use them.

I see your problem as getting forced out of war. Try defying the resolution (NEVER), since at max you're losing 4 hammers per turn (Monastery and Temple of AP SR);

I hate it they are constantly trying to vote me into Emancipation. Especially annoying whe WangKon (Who's Fav Civic is Caste System, which is NOT Emancipation) is the AP leader and brings it up. [pissed]

BTW.: Why there are there only the 5 Global Civics votes anyway ?!? Now i understand why the UN would not want to vote on "Global Slavery" (tho, Civ is a game of "What if's" and perhaps in some alternative reality the UN would do that as well...)

But left aside the Extremes... what's wrong with Free Market ? Or Pacifism ? Or Representation ? Why there are no Global Civic resolutions for those ?

I've wondered this, too. Or why Stalin isn't trying to pass global State Property. I think it should be up to the SecGen to choose what civic is trying to get passed.
