Nice screenshots there! I finally bought my new pc, and i‘m looking forward to the Steam Summer Sale, maybe it will be time for Ara then :)
My faithful and tough good old pc is now retired, which is a bit sad at the same time 🤔

Yeah, that would be a good time to get it. :) Update 1.4 should be out by then, and it's a massive improvement. I was playing the preview until 2 AM last night, and found it hard to put it down.

So, for something a little bit different, I found this uninhabited island some ways off the coast:

It may just look like a snowy wooded island to you, but I was quite excited about it. The mainland is getting cramped, and I don't have too many ocean resources. That region with two Fish resources is looking very appealing to me. This island has a nice size, I will be able to fit a substantial settlement on it. Food will have to be supplied through food amenities produced on the mainland in the beginning, but as soon as I've got my fisheries up and running, I should have no problems producing enough food locally to support a growing population.

I made a separate thread about the settlement I founded on that island, which you can find right here if you are interested. :-)

Meanwhile, mainland Germany at the beginning of the Machine Age:

I expect some trouble, as well as some opportunities here soon. We're approaching the second act transition, and Argentina looks unlikely to make the cut. That means that their towns near New Ulm will be abandoned, replaced by barbarians and ruins. I want to be able to rush in and grab that Crude Oil resource before Tamar does. It might be tricky, as that region is right at the outskirts of Tblisi, but I am going to give it a go.
