Currently playing as Arabia, and I have the first two goals and Islam is at 32%. My current plans are to settle another city in India and grow those as big as possible. I'm also sending missionaries to the Aztec and Inca. Unsure if I want to actually conquer their lands - Aztec could be worth it, but probably not the Inca. I don't like taking vassals in RFC because they can initiate war, but if vassaling them would be a very good idea let me know. I might also have to take over Europe by force to spread Islam and curb Christianity. I might also give my European cities to Portugal depending on the situation (mainly, if I have to invade Europe or not; Madrid is my main production center there). The Vikings and Russia also look like good targets for missionaries but with the limit it will be slow going; probably quicker to just build an army and take everything over, especially since my stability seems to be doing well despite all the ahistorical expansion. Oh, and Mali beat me to University of Sankore and I had to give Turkey a tech and ~200 gold just to get them to convert. Current obstacles: -Plague; my military and population look to take a beating soon and will leave me vulnerable to attacks from the Dutch, Germany, Independent Rome and Venice, and Turkey -Turkey isn't Friendly yet so no open borders; hopefully soon. They also decided to be jerks and settled right next to Baghdad. If anyone has any comments let me know. I just wanted to see if the community has any feedback on how I can improve. Right now it looks like I'm making good progress as long as plague doesn't cause huge issues.
